IAMCP SUMMIT

Bruxelles Mars 22nd-24th. We had the privilege to partecipate as IAMCP (International Association of Microsoft Partners) associated to the International Summit held in Brussels. The theme this year was cloud computing, in this occasion we met several MEPs to discuss the issue. There were: an interesting visit to Living Tomorrow (the house of the future designed by Microsoft) and a tour among the local restaurants for the famous Trappist beers. We also had the pleasure to know Werngren (see the picture), the World Association President.

WPC ITALIAN PRESENTATION

Segrate, 20 November 2009. During the WPC italian presentation in which has been described the new Microsoft Program Partner wh had the onour to personally present to Pietro Scott Jovine, Italian Microsoft CEO, the event "Technologies and citizen relationship management solutions for public" that is going to be in Rivarolo Canavese.

EXECUTIVE PARTNER MEETING

San Donato (Milan). Friday 9 we had the honour to be invited at the Executive Partner meeting, anniversary appointment that involves the 200 best Italian Microsoft Partner enterprises. We had the opportunity to personally know the new Director of the Small & Mid Market Solution & Partners Christoph Bischoff and also the head of the Small Business & Distribution Primo Bonacina. Introduced by the CEO of Microsoft Italy Pietro Scott Jovine then began the attended participation of Steve Ballmer CEO of Microsoft Corporation.
Windows 7 is not gonna be the only innovation of this year: Office 2010, Windows Mobile 6.5 and many other innovations are waiting for us. An enthusiastic participation which opened with thanks to us Partners and continued with the illustration of the Microsoft strong point: research and the enormous investment on it.

B2B: CREATING MARKET
May 2009

Www.salato.it will join the event B2B:creating market.It's a business opportunity organized by Apid in collaboration with Api and the Turin Chambre of Commerce.
The B2b projected by APID is a system, a process, a place where you can plan, make promotion and distribution of goods and services, share projects, with the proposal of making exchanges that really satisfy the needs of the participants companies.
The Idea is to create a market through the bilateral encounter between companies, preventively fixed in the web portal, structured following an agenda based on the interest between supply and demand.
Using the portal, the company will have the opportunity to create its own "vetrina", to propose its offering and to submit its needs.
Meanwhile, the company will be able to be aknowledged about other participants, to cross search between supply and demand and to fix appointments with other more interesting companies.

INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY FORUM

MICROSOFT IN CANAVESE
December 2008

In collaboration with Microsoft Italy, it was held in Rivarolo Canavese a special Event (the only one in a town not capital): Together for the Productivity and the Collaboration (see the presentation). The participation was very good and it involved about 50 big companies situated near Turin, and we had the welcome of the guest town through the voice of the President of the Council, Franco Papotti. That was an important appointment with the best Microsoft Italy's technicians in our geographic area to present our small and medium companies the new Microsoft software solutions. In the morning they presented the operating system Vista and Office 2007 applications, while the afternoon was dedicated to the collaboration and communication with Sharepoint© e Unified Comunications. The kind of the three targets that we followed in this presentation were: Economic (companies will have more profits), Cultural (employess will have more knowledge) and Environmental (more energy saving). It will be a year appointment because companies like it very much.

Denver. During the Worldwide Partner Conference 2007 (Denver, 10-12 July) Microsoft has presented new products, services and commercial models that will help Partners to take new business opportunities in a quick evolution market. The combination between products that will be released soon and the software distribution evolution will be a competitive advantage for Microsoft channel.
“This year the Worldwide Partner Conference gave the opportunity to show to all Microsoft Partner an important evolution in the technologies diffusion, based on a strategy where software and services are tightly linked among themselves ”, has commented Luca Marinelli, Small Medium Business Manager and Microsoft Italy Partner. “It's a new approach that will allow us to overwork in a most effective way competences and the Italian Partner network preparation, to give a most efficient support to businesses”.
During the annual event that gather Microsoft Partner coming from all over the world, Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, and Kevin Turner, Chief Operating Officer, highlight the strategic role made up by Microsoft Partners in transferring innovation and value to companies, thanks to a strategy that make provision for the diffusion of software and services.

IT'S BORN

Bruxelles 6th June. Great day for European Small Business in IT field. The SME (Small and Medium Enterprise), sponsored by Microsoft, has bring together in the European City the IT specialists and venture capitalists in comparison with the Community Institutions. It was a great privilege to listen the European Commissioner Viviane Reding and Jean-Philippe Courtois, Microsoft Europe President. Besides it was also a great occasion to compare our company that is strongly italian with the experience of similar companies in Northern Europe.

Into an amazing choreography, the “East End Studios” in Milan, among dancers and light games, Microsoft presented the future evolution of the job in office. As Office was a revolution for word processing and spreadsheet, it is arriving a new suite. After the strong experience with Navision, Customer Relationship Manager and Axapta, it’s coming Ms Dynamics package that includes NAV, CRM and AX. These three powerful applications surpass the administrative software concept (bills, invoices and warehouse) and complete the production, sale predictions, customers relationships and much more. All this is very simple to use and customize, interacts with Office and…Sharepoint!!








SBS Conference
April 2006

Amsterdam ( Holland ). The 1st SBS (Small Business Specialist) European Conference, organized by SMB nation has took place in Amsterdam during April 6th and April 7th. It has seen the participation of beyond 120 European small businessmen of IT field that for 2 days had listened to Americans and Australians experts about the market strategies, the new business models, the overseas experiences and the Microsoft imminent innovations. In exclusive it has been introduced new products for small business solutions (first among all the new Microsoft R2 server and also Vista and Office12). The occasion has been indeed useful, in fact the only Italian society that was present - ours - had way to have a fruitful exchange of opinions with SBS coming from the north Europe (more than 40 English, approximately 20 Germans and Scandinavians, some French, Belgian and Dutch and the nice presence of Irish people). The conference documents (brochure, presentations, etc.) are at disposal of Italian “Punto Microsoft”. In fact is our intention to create, as in other European countries, a community for the reciprocal information exchange.


HARRY BRELSFORD

Harry Brelsford from Seattle (USA), the founder of , as well as a multi-certified Microsoft Server guru, is meeting European Small Business Specialist. As first stage he choose Italy we were honoured to be the 1st SBS visited, and we had the pleasure to receive him in our head office. After Italy he will be in Great Britain, Denmark, Norway and, on April, in Holland for the 1st SBS European Conference.

The event, organized by WWW.SALATO.IT, wanted to propose to his best Customers that operates in the Building Field, the extraordinary EXCELLENT offer, leader software in the field. The Workshop (download the brochure) took place in Rivarolo Canavese at the "Antica Locanda dell'Orco" Restaurant and it born from our collaboration with STR S.p.A ,leader company in development, innovation and italian building software quality, as in july 2005 it won the world prize as Best Microsoft Partner.
WWW.SALATO.IT and STR subscribed an agreement to develop a partnership project to spread into our territory a simple and winner software based on Microsoft OFFICE as EXCELLENT.
This event is the best way to involve building professionals which geometricians, engineers, architects and impresarios buildings whether in private field that in Public Administration to propose new solutions that allow to save time and to optimize the working processes in a field in constant evolution.
The Workshop was also the occasion to offer an exclusive product, that is studied to satisfy any customer's requirement.

Smau, the major IT window in our Country, celebrates the Microsoft’s 20th year in Italy. We were kindly invited to the session where we could hear the speech about the market evolution held by the founder Bill Gates, that took part in the final conference. We were there!

PARTNER CONFERENCE
Luglio 2005

In July has took place in Minneapolis ( Minnesota – USA ) the 2005 edition of the world-wide conference MICROSOFT dedicated to partners. It was the occasion to study the strategies and perspectives of the market field called SMALL BUSINESS.
Microsoft has launched the plan PUNTO MICROSOFT (download the video) to supply a capillary presence to the small and middle enterprise on the territory, specialists characterized in informatics consulting ,and, at the same time, able to supply a high degree of trade assistance for the purchase of original licences. Today in Italy the “Punto Microsoft” retailers to the service of Small and Middle Enterprises are beyond 850.
During the conference, in which are taken part more than 6.500, 2 Italian partners, among these www.salato.it, have been invited to introduce to the colleagues of all the world the experience and results they caught up during the first year as “Punto Microsoft”. The plan had a so positive reply that Microsoft has extended it to all the world with the name of SMALL BUSINESS SPECIALIST.
Proud of our engagement and of the recognized visibility, we find in this the cue to continue on the road that we have undertaken to grow professionally and to supply to our customers the better solutions and services to guarantee and to satisfy all their need.
